Starting October 14, 2025, Microsoft will end support for Windows 10.¹ This means there will no longer be any security updates, bug fixes, or technical support. Devices that continue to run Windows 10 will therefore be more vulnerable to security risks and cyberattacks.
Although there is the possibility to purchase extended protection, this can be up to USD 61 per device per year² represent a significant additional burden. To avoid unnecessary costs and security risks, it is advisable to upgrade to a current version of Windows early on.
